So I said to him what I say to you: God loved. Because God is love. And there was such great love — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — it was so overflowing that, I hope you understand, God could not be egoistic. His love had to be poured out, so as to share this love with those outside himself. So God created the world. He made this beautiful world in which we live. But because we were confused, we don’t always take care of this great world. But the most beautiful thing God created was the family – a man and a woman – and he gave them everything, he gave them the world. Be fruitful and multiply … all that love that he poured out in creation, he gave it and shared it and bestowed on a family.
