This video speaks to how damaging and inaccurate our prejudices can be about others; a good reminder on the day American’s mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day, which is now a federal holiday and observed on the third Monday of January each year (around the time of King's birthday on January 15). King was known for his work in the U.S. Civil Rights Movement. Assassinated in 1968, King's speech, "I Have A Dream", delivered on August 28, 1963, called for an end to racism in the United States. It has been ranked the top American speech of the 20th century in a 1999 poll of scholars of public address. Today, we remember that we must do our part to eradicate prejudice and racism in our society.
