This video filmed by Real Life Catholic explores the way one young Christian mother named Liz is facing incurable cancer. A resident of Oregon, Liz knows she could legally take her life at any point of her advanced, incurable kidney cancer. But how she’s approaching her illness reminds us that suicide is not an act of dignity. God has the final word on life and death. "My life is not written by cancer, but by love." says Liz, "And a story’s end changes the meaning of every page." This brave mom reminds us that our lives are not ours to take, but to give. We are here to love to the end. That’s what facing death with dignity really means.
