The US State Department is to use the word "Daesh" to refer to ISIS after perceived "unfair" association between ISIS and Islam.
The change is a result of comments made by the Foreign Minister of France who said, "I do not recommend using the term Islamic State because it blurs the lines between Islam, Muslims, and Islamists, the Arabs call them Daesh" (Such nonsense! Firstly ISIS is Islamic (albeit an aggressive manifestation of it) and secondly this new name means precisely the same thing, just in Arabic!
