The Freedom from Religion Foundation alerted the principal at Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida, that it received at least one complaint about students taking a knee in prayer for an injured teammate during a game.
A school representative says students are allowed to pray, but coaches or employees cannot lead them in prayer. Parents at the game said there are bigger things to worry about in the world than this.
The foundation consists mostly of atheist parents, according to WKMG-TV.
Earlier this year, Orange County, Florida, public schools banned chaplains from leading prayers with students.
